Winter maintenance:
Contractor and civil litigation process           

Join guest speaker Kieran Dickson of Evans, Philp; a boutique insurance defence firm. Kieran’s practice largely consists of the defence of property owners, contractors, and other persons in relation to premises-maintenance lawsuits.

This meeting will address:

  • The legal principles and the standard of care applicable to winter maintenance contractors
  • The evidentiary considerations including; the log/GPS/other records that come under the microscope in slip-and-fall cases
  • The role of the winter maintenance contractor in the examination for discovery and trial process
