Some wondered about the impact of the stock market, indicating it did not have any correlation to their business.
 

Some contractors are impacted directly by this (if you work for clients that work in or near the stock market) and the rest of us are impacted indirectly. Even if you feel no direct impact, it is an indicator of investor confidence in the future, and as such, should be one of the indicators that a business owner pays attention to, along with the myriad other economic indicators. The “phone ringing” and “what’s happening to my neighboring competitor” should not be the only thing one pays attention to.
