Snowposium is back!

Milton, Ont. – April 11, 2019 – Landscape Ontario recognizes your publication, digital and social media sites as a popular news source for the ornamental horticulture, landscape architecture, design and design-build professions. With the days finally getting warmer and spring officially here, snow may be the last thing on your mind. Leave it to Landscape Ontario’s Snow and Ice Sector Group to remind you that the colder months will be coming before you know it as they announce that they will be holding their annual Snowposium on Thursday, September 26, 2019.
 
This single-day event will welcome you to the newly renovated Landscape Ontario (LO) Site in Milton. The event will feature an outdoor trade show, open to all snow and ice management professionals regardless of whether they are registered for the paid conference sessions. Attendees may visit with experts at numerous exhibits to see new products for this upcoming winter, hear product presentations and discuss practical tactics for operational efficiency in various area of snow and ice management.

Snowposium will be held at the Landscape Ontario Milton Site, 7856 Fifth Line, from 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. A full conference pass includes in-class sessions, lunch and access to exhibits. Early bird registration is now open. Costs are $85 per LO, SIMA or SAS member or $115 per non-member if registered by September 13. Prices go up after that date.
 

The 2019 Snowposium will include:

  • Trade show featuring the latest snow and ice equipment, technology and services from over 25 exhibitors.
  • Educational sessions (paid registration) with topics covering; slip and fall insurance; Sustainable Winter Management; the salt shortage; alternatives to salt and more.
  • Outdoor demos for conference registrants
  • Conference registrants will receive a complimentary lunch.
  • Face-to-face opportunities with leading-edge vendors at the trade show.

 

Snowposium is where key players in the Ontario snow and ice removal sector gather to prepare for the upcoming season.With conference programming focused on the real-world business issues crucial to running a successful snow and ice management operation the 2019 Snowposium is anticipated to draw an audience of industry leaders including private, commercial and municipal snow and ice professionals, property managers, equipment and operation managers, key personnel, industry suppliers and more..
