Short Course agenda announced

Each February, the Growers Group Short Course brings together Ontario nursery growers to learn more about issues they face. The lineup of topics for the 2005 Short Course sheds light on container and field production issues.

The Short Course takes place on February 9 at the Royal Botanical Gardens Centre in Burlington. Topics range from nutrient management to pesticides, and again, growers will cover a range of topics at the Growers’ Good Ideas Session.

Featured speaker Dr. Ted Bilderback, a professor and nursery extension specialist at North Carolina State University, will speak on environmentally-friendly strategies and best practices in both container and field production.
