Dear Landscape Ontario members: Notice to members It has come to our attention that many of you have received invoices from the Pesticide Industry Regulatory Council (PIRC). This invoice has caused confusion. Please note that the PIRC is not associated with Landscape Ontario in any way. Landscape Ontario only supports the IPM Accreditation program developed by the IPM Council. The IPM Council is a legally incorporated not-for-profit association of stakeholders including the Ontario Parks Association, International Society of Arboriculture, Ontario Vegetation Management Association, Ontario Golf Course Superintendents Association and others. None of the member associations benefit financially from the IPM Accreditation Program. Ridgetown College (University of Guelph) has been contracted to be the third party administrator for the program. Please see www.ontarioipm.com for details. We hope this clears up the confusion.
