Mohawk Announcement April 2022

Effective April 1, 2022, Mohawk College will no longer be providing Horticulture Apprenticeship Training at the Stoney Creek Campus.

Due to low enrollment, Landscape Ontario Horticultural Trades Association will focus registrations on the 3 remaining Training Delivery Agents as follows:

• Algonquin College,
• Humber College and
• Fanshawe College continuing to deliver Level’s 1 and 2 of the Horticulture Apprenticeship training at their campuses.

The above colleges will continue to deliver Level’s 1 and 2 of the Horticultural Technician Apprenticeship in-school program at their campuses. 

Landscape Ontario will work with the Ministry to support apprentices with completing their training through one of the other colleges.

Mohawk College and Landscape Ontario are proud of the partnership that supported Horticultural Apprentices to complete their training locally at the Stoney Creek campus since 2010, and remain open to working together in future if demand for this training increases.
