Lawn Care Sector Group asks for Chapter’s support
A Penetanguishene homeowner recently received a letter from Drinking Water Source Protection (www.ourwatershed.ca), stating her property may be designated as a significant threat to drinking water because it had been fertilized. The Lawn Care group wants to spread the word that fertilizer, applied properly, is not a threat to our water resources. Toward that end, it asks chapter members to join group members in attending an upcoming Source Protection open house at the Lions Gate Banquet Centre, 386 Blake St. in Barrie, 4-8:00 p.m. on Wed., Oct. 6. For more information, contact Gavin Dawson, past chair, at gdawson@greenlawncanada.com.
