Dear LO members, The GROW New Entrant worker program requires technicians to support the winter training that is scheduled from January to March 2021 at Landscape Ontario’s Milton head office. If you know of, or have a great employee who might be a great fit for this position, then please share this posting with them: Technician Job Description. The ideal candidate is strong technically, possesses a strong understanding of workplace health & safety, aspires to develop their own training skills and is passionate about the profession. This position requires that the candidate will be off work during the winter months and looking for short term winter employment. This is a win:win for technicians, employers and LO. Technicians build skills as they support industry trainers and skills development of the GROW Program participants; employers benefit as their technician returns for the spring 2021 season with new skills to implement on the job, and LO new entrant workers receive mentorship from experienced passionate mentor technicians.
