Nova Scotia Awards of Landscape Excellence – in conjunction with the National Awards of Excellence

Landscape Nova Scotia Horticultural Trades Association (LNSHTA) was established in 1981 and is a volunteer based provincial trades association representing companies and individuals who conduct business in the landscape and horticulture industry in Nova Scotia. LNSHTA works with its membership and the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association to promote high standards in product quality, professional service and conduct in the landscape and horticulture industry. We have been a voice for the landscape and horticultural industry for 31 years in Nova Scotia, and are committed to providing consumers with options to make informed decisions.

LNSHTA – Awards of Excellence Program
The 2011 Awards of Excellence Program further supports the goals and vision of the LNSHTA. All program entries are judged on a variety of criteria that are consistent with the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association and LNSHTA’s Standards and Specifications.

LNSHTA – Awards of Excellence Banquet Gala
The Awards of Excellence Banquet Gala will take place in conjunction with the National Awards which will be taking place in Halifax at the Westin Nova Scotian Hotel in February of 2012. Since the National Awards of Landscape Excellence will be held the same evening, representatives from across the country will be attending. This will be a great time to showcase your company’s product nation wide! The National Awards of Excellence Gala will not happen again for many years, so take advantage of this opportunity.

This gala will celebrate excellence in the industry and will draw together the LNSHTA membership, CNLA Board and staff, all other provincial association’s staff and representatives, National Awards recipients from across the country, landscape architects, municipal representatives, contractors and educators – all stakeholders and representatives of the landscape and horticultural community. This event always draws broad media coverage, award winners and sponsors will have an opportunity to shine!

These award categories include Awards of Excellence categories Installation, Maintenance and Design. Along with the following Specialty Awards: ICP/SRW, Plant the Right Tree in the Right Place, Environment Stewardship, Community Involvement, Natural Stone, Wood Construction, Garden Design, Waterscaping and Nightscaping, CHT Award and Place of Business.
