Landscape Manitoba’s Awards of Excellence 2011


Landscape Manitoba’s Awards of Excellence program highlights the importance of sustainable landscapes to the well-being and beauty of Canada’s increasingly urban environment.  The program recognizes the key role played by landscape design, installation and maintenance companies, parks boards and other horticulturists in executing the best management practices that protect our environment including: water cleanliness and conservation; pest management; air quality; waste reduction; and plant selection.

Landscape Manitoba’s Awards ceremony was held during their annual trade show and conference, The Manitoba Green Show, w
hich featured more than 50 exhibitors, and speakers from across Canada and the US.


Three awards were distributed throughout the evening – all for landscape
construction.  3 Seasons Landscaping captured an Award of Excellence for 365
Campbell (under $15,000), while Alternative Landscaping took home Awards of
Merit for their work at the Powell
Residence (under $15,000) and the Glavin
Residence (over $15,000).

LM would like to extend a big thank-you to all our submitting members and our judging panel who again this year jumped on their task very quickly and enthusiastically.  We continue to see very impressive product being designed and installed locally by our humble Landscape Manitoba members.  What’s even more awesome is an Awards Program that allows us the opportunity to share and spread the news of fantastic landscaping projects.  Keep up the great work – we look forward to more of the same next year!
