International speaker visits Garden Expo

Garden Expo/Florist Expo, Canada’s premier fall buying show for the green and floral industries, will host Martin Stewart of Stewarts Co. in England.

In his October 20th seminar, Stewart will talk about how U.K. independent garden centre retailers are facing the challenge of the multiple “big box” retailers.

With its root as an established nursery dating back to the 18th century, Stewarts is acknowledged as the first destination garden centre in the U.K., and it can now add design/build, interiorscaping, dried and silk flowers and a successful coffee and garden shop to its list of services. It also runs a wholesale plant nursery.

The seminar will take place on October 20 at 4:30 p.m. at the Toronto Congress Centre, 650 Dixon Rd., Toronto. See you there!
