The GROW New Entrant Training Program prepares participants for entry-level jobs in the landscape and horticultural profession. Eligibility Requirements: Age 18+ Resident of Ontario Legally permitted to work in Canada Unemployed or underemployed Seeking full-time employment in the Greater Toronto & Hamilton Area Available to attend full-time training Train with industry professionals. Build in-demand skills \| Job-ready in 6 weeks.
	Designed by Landscape Ontario, the largest landscape and horticultural industry association in the province, the program features in-demand skills training from industry professionals. Train with industry professionals to build in-demand skills including: Plant Identification Installation and Maintenance Techniques Horticultural Principles Safe Tool & Equipment Use Health & Safety incl. WHMIS
New training cohorts starting regularly until October. All training provided free of charge to eligible participants.
