Dear fellow LO members:
For the past months you have been seeing, hearing, reading, and touching the beginning of a new initiative of Landscape Ontario. A number of extremely passionate, committed, and professional compatriots have spent several years trying to come to a consensus on how to brand our diverse industry and association to the consumer. The resulting commitment and dedication of your peers, staff, and consultants has led us to this momentous occasion.
Canada Blooms 2009 will represent the official consumer launch of our new initiative rebranding Landscape Ontario. Through our call to action, www.landscapeontario.com will be the engine that drives the consumer promotion of ‘Green for Life’.
Make note of where you are today and think of where you want to be in five years from now as a business and as an industry. We, the members of the branding committee, believe we are at a watershed moment in our history as an association. As members, we ALL have the ability to directly affect the outcome of the effectiveness of this initiative. ALL members need to participate in this collective venture. The tools that have been developed will assist you in promoting your professionalism, your industry and relevance to your customers. As a collective group, we have the power to influence the masses through clear, consistent and unified messaging. This initiative has the potential to be immensely far reaching, effective and sustainable.
