Refunds
These refunds are for manual transactions only. Any other systems like Show
Registration or Winter
Seminars need to have the refunds processed within those modules,
otherwise the resulting reporting will be incorrect.
If you have to refund a transaction, click on the original transaction to show its details. You will see the “Refund Transaction” link. You can refund any amount of the transaction up to the total amount of the transaction. (So if someone paid for 10 people for something you could do a partial refund of 2 people’s payments for example.) By default the email address that was used for the previous transaction will be selected. Type in a description as to why it is being refunded and then Process Refund. The refund will be processed as a new transaction and will use the information from the old one automatically.
For accounting people
When viewing the daily totals screen, the refunds will show approved if they’re successful, but they will decrease the total amount at the bottom of the screen.
