Congress jumps in rankings
Landscape Ontario’s Congress is the tenth largest trade show in Canada, according to Trade Show Week magazine.
The continued growth of Congress reflects strong sales in the lawn and garden sector. A recent study by the National Gardening Association in the U.S. showed that sales were up once again for 2005 — lawn care retail sales up by nine per cent, flower gardening retail sales up by 10 per cent and container gardening sales up by eight per cent. Congress was also honoured as one of the 50 fastest-growing trade shows in North America by Trade Show Week in 2003.
