Landscape Ontario has three courses to make you a concrete expert
NEW! Concrete 101
November 21-24, 2022 | Landscape Ontario, Milton
This four-day seminar will teach participants the purpose of concrete slabs on grade, applications and drawbacks. They will learn about concrete mix design, admixtures, proper tools and equipment, forming and placing a concrete slab, reinforcement, forming steps, finishing techniques, proper concrete curing and control joint cutting. At the end of the session we will have placed one or multiple 10’x10’ concrete slabs with basic finishes.
NEW! Decorative Concrete
November 28 to December 1, 2022 | Landscape Ontario, Milton
During this portion participants will learn about different types of decorative concrete. How to order concrete for proper decorative, proper tools and equipment to get it done, troubleshooting, design, and drawbacks. At the end of this session participants will have placed one or multiple 10’x10’ slabs with a decorative finish/finishes including integrally coloured, stamped concrete, and exposed aggregates of different levels.
NEW! Working with Existing Concrete
December 5-7, 2022 | Landscape Ontario, Milton
During this seminar participants will learn to work with existing concrete, this includes staining, sealing, engraving, concrete for decorative purposes and also Dealing with concrete issues, When to replace and when to repair. Interior vs exterior concrete on horizontal surfaces. At the end of this seminar participants will have repaired, stained, engraved, and sealed an existing concrete slab.

Participants are required to bring: personal protective equipment, including: work boots for concrete work, gloves including latex, eye and hearing protection, hard hat, particulate mask appropriate for concrete.
