Hello Chapter Leaders!Our next all chapter virtual meeting is slated for next Wednesday December 16 at 1pm. We received a lot of feedback from the almost 200 attendees that they prefer a time earlier in the day, ideally early afternoon. We’re going to try it and see how it goes. I’ve been able to book another very inspiring speaker, Susan Cohan. I met her through my involvement with the Association of Professional Landscape Designers in the US. She’ll be presenting on the design inspiration and lessons she learned from her garden focused travels all over the world. I think we all could use some inspiration as we go into a long winter with Covid-19 restrictions. Following her presentation with Q&A, much like the last All Chapter Virtual Meeting, we’ll open up the chapter breakout rooms. There you’ll be encouraged to host roundtable discussions. Some chapters at the November meeting even brought in their own speakers and panelists. The chapter breakout meetings are yours. This time around we’re only planning one speaker. Susan’s presentation will run approximately 40 minutes. We want to provide as much chapter breakout meeting time as possible without feeling rushed. Please join us next Wednesday December 16 at 1pm – 3pm. If you do have something planned, please let us know and we’ll help promote it by listing it on the landing page for the event.
