Chapter COVID19 email

Thank you to those who have reached out to home office looking for direction on how to proceed with upcoming chapter events in light of the ever changing situation with COVID-19.

I’m sure you have heard that Canada Blooms has unfortunately been cancelled, along with many other large scale events. We are taking direction from health officials and Ontario’s chief medical officer of health who recommends the suspension of any event or public gathering of over 250 people. 

Seminars will be continuing but the association will offer refunds or credits to participants who have pre-registered no no longer are able to attend due to personal choice and/or company policy.

We are encouraging Chapters to host their board meetings via conference call or zoom. Please let me know if you would like to utilize these for your meetings and we will set them up for you.

Tony has directed that chapter events are at the discretion of the chapter board (provided they do not exceed 250 people), unless other directions are given by public health officials.
