Global Marketing Networking Group generates results for horticultural entrepreneurs

LO members are eligible for a special rate to participate in cost- and time-effective discussion groups, led by conference call facilitator Ken Etheridge.

“I wanted to give small businesses and entrepreneurs an affordable way to tap into the same high-level marketing expertise that has enhanced the branding and profit performance of national and international companies,” explains Etheridge.

His program is called the Global Marketing Networking Group (GMNG). To participate, you must first complete an analysis of your business so that you can be placed in a group (maximum 10 participants) that best suits your needs and objectives. Once a month, over a period of eight months, the group participates in pre-scheduled hour-long conference calls facilitated by Ken
Etheridge. Each call focuses on a particular topic of interest and participants have an opportunity to discuss marketing their products/services individually or jointly with others in the group. Ken also provides monthly recommendations to each participant on how to improve their bottom line.

Ken Etheridge was responsible for taking Nutri-Lawn International from an eight-man franchise to what it is today, for helping The Weed Man generate a 46% increase in overall sales, and for developing a strategic branding and marketing program that resulted in the Bank of Montreal gaining 10,000 new customers (twice their goal) within a three-month period. He has won many national and international marketing awards, including two Clios, for his efforts.

New groups are forming in July. LO members, as well as members of all other provincial associations aligned with CNLA, receive a special rate of $642 (GST included) for eight months. This special opportunity if sponsored by Landscape Trades magazine. Non-members may join for $770.40.
