Niagara Parks School of Horticulture has named James Smith to the position of acting superintendent. He will join the Niagara Parks Commission starting on Feb. 2, 2009. Smith has a background in the golf industry as a former superintendent, and is presently employed in the education sector as an instructor at Olds College in Alberta.
