The Town of Oakville has completed a draft of its noise by-law and is inviting community members to provide feedback by taking a short online questionnaire.
Recognizing the significant role residents play in helping to shape policy, please consider reviewing the draft by-law and providing feedback through the questionnaire. Your participation will help staff develop recommendations to the town’s noise by-law, which aims to balance noise from most activities in a way that respects everyone’s right to an enjoyable community and peaceful lifestyle.
The online questionnaire is open until February 29, 2024, and takes five minutes to complete. It is strictly confidential and anonymous with the option for residents to provide an email address if they would like to receive updates on the review.
The town is also hosting a public information night on Wednesday, February 28, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the South Atrium of Town Hall where Landscape Ontario and industry members can provide feedback in person. Town staff will also be available to take notes and answer any questions.
