Ottawa Chapter support needed eblast December 3, 2021

Landscape Ontario is partnering with the YMCA-YWCA of the National Capital Region and Algonquin College to once again deliver a pre-apprenticeship program locally in the region. This program will help to attract, train and develop future professionals for the landscape and horticulture profession for the 2022-2023 season. In order to support our business case, it is critical that we can show employer support and evidence that there is demand for these new workers in the region.

We are asking employers to:
Complete a letter of support to indicate their level of participation and commitment (and send it to Sally Harvey at sharvey@landscapeontario.com).

If you and your company could benefit from such a program, please follow the steps below and submit your Letter of Support no later than December 13, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.

Next steps for employers:

• Open the Letter of Support template.
• Copy and paste the content onto your letterhead. Review and edit accordingly.
• Fill in the company information as prompted (please remove prompts before saving and submitting).
• Review and include only the bullet points that reflect your firm’s level of involvement/support. Please feel free to add more.
• Print, sign, and scan the letter.
• Email it directly to Sally Harvey at sharvey@landscapeontario.com before December 13, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.
