GROW
Hello partners,

Landscape Ontario is excited to tell you that we are applying to the government to continue to offer the GROW program for another year. If approved it will provide:

  • Skills training and career development to at least 75 current employees.
  • Much needed basic training aimed at a minimum of 200 new workers.
  • Professional development aimed at employers.

The program will be strategically offered across the province in geographical areas where the highest worker demand exists. The program is anticipated to continue to provide a pipeline of new and up-skilled workers for the 2022-2023 landscape and horticulture season.

This program will help to identify, train and develop future professionals for the Landscape and Horticulture profession. We are asking partners to support this program by providing us with a Letter of Support. We have kindly attached a template for your convenience.

Next steps for partners:

  1. Copy and paste the content from the Letter of Support onto your letterhead. Review and edit accordingly.
  2. Fill in the organizational information where there are yellow highlights identified in the document (please remove the highlights before saving and submitting).
  3. Review the bullet points and leave in only those that reflect your organization’s level of involvement or support. Please feel free to add as you wish.
  4. Sign and scan the letter.
  5. Email it directly to Sally Harvey: sharvey@landscapeontario.com before Nov. 30 at 4 pm.
