Landscape Ontario, in partnership with the Region of Peel and the Regional Municipality of York, have developed the Water Smart Irrigation Professional (WSIP) training and certification program.



The program provides irrigation contractors with the tools and knowledge to optimize irrigation systems for optimal performance with minimum water usage. 

Participants learn about new tools and techniques to optimize irrigation systems for optimal performance with minimum water usage. Participating contractors also learn about new smart technology – computerized systems that deliver water more efficiently and even take rainfall into account. 

The WSIP program is available to irrigation Professionals across Ontario.

March 29th -April 1st, 2021

Cost of $650.00 plus HST per participant.





Virtual delivery over four morning sessions from 9:00 – 12:30pm. Exam and practical validation scheduled within 2 weeks of training. Date TBD. 



Note: If exam and practical validation are able to be completed in person, participant must be willing to travel to LO home office in Milton.
