Please help solve our labour challenge!

In response to the industry feedback regarding labour shortages, Landscape Ontario is working on a Labour Market, Profiles and Pathways project funded by Employment Ontario. The purpose of this project is to identify the top eight to twelve in-demand occupations and increase awareness about those opportunities by highlighting the profiles and pathways that job-seekers can undertake to pursue a valued career in this high demand profession.

The research and products developed as a result of this project will increase awareness, and provide valuable information to employers, job-seekers, youth, newcomers, parents, and employment /guidance counselors about the specific in-demand occupations and growth opportunities available within the landscape and horticulture sector.

Outcomes include the development of resources to assist the industry and partners in educating, attracting, recruiting and retaining enough competent workers to design, construct and maintain Ontario’s green infrastructure that will support a healthier environment

As the resources will serve the vast audience mentioned above, we are seeking your feedback to inform the research, which in turn will inform the final products and resources developed over the next year.

Please take 10 minutes to complete the survey before January 21, 2021:
