COVID-19 - Resources

Action items for members

Top priority for LO members: Please submit your feedback to a government website asking for comments on essential workplaces. You will be asked to describe your business and why it’s essential, and also detail the safety measures you plan to implement. Each field limits responses to 200 words, so tomorrow’s update will include some suggestions for our specific sectors. Please be sure to copy and save your submissions, and forward any government responses to LO.

In case you have not heard, Ontario has extended closure of non-essential workplaces to April 13. A press release gives full details; view it here.

Have you created a continuity and preparedness plan for your business? If so, please send it to LO, so we can assemble templates to help other members plan.

Need some business advice? Have some experience to offer? Connect on the new LO Covid-19 Member Mentor page. It’s another example of LO members working together to help each other succeed.

COVID 19 has unsettled everyone. It is important to look after your mental health. We have a two-part webinar that will assist.  The first part is scheduled tomorrow, April 1, at 10 a.m. and the second part resumes on Friday, April 3 at 1 p.m. Visit LO’s webinar hub to register and see other upcoming and archived webinars.
