Water Smart Irrigation Professional (WSIP) program registration/application now open

Landscape Ontario, in partnership with the Region of Peel and the Regional Municipality of York, have developed the Water Smart Irrigation Professional (WSIP) training and certification program.

The program provides irrigation contractors with the tools and knowledge to optimize irrigation systems for optimal performance with minimum water usage. Participants will receive a Study Manual and an irrigation auditing software, the WSIP Data Manager, prior to the training seminar for their use during and proceeding certification.

You should apply/register if:

  • You provide irrigation services

  • You are looking for solutions to help your clients reduce their water consumption

  • You want to stay up-to-date with a changing market and provide yourself with new business opportunities

  • If you operate in the Region of Peel (Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon) and/or York Region (Newmarket, Aurora, Richmond Hill, Markham, Vaughan, King, Whitchurch-Stouffville, East Gwillimbury, Georgina) **you may be eligible to have your training costs covered by the Regions**
