| Last chance to register for storm water management training and certification The Fusion Landscape Professional (FLP) program provides experienced landscape designers, architects, construction and maintenance contractors with the tools and knowledge to provide landscape services that utilize residential lot-level storm water. There are two upcoming training opportunities open to professionals across the province (held at Landscape Ontario, Feb 4 & 5). The Region sponsored training for Peel and/or York Region companies will be held on Feb 11 & 12. Register/apply before tomorrow’s deadline. |

| Box tree moth Industry Working Group Update In preparation for the expected May emergence of box tree moth larvae in Toronto, the Box Tree Moth Industry Working Group has continued to work on managing the spread of this new pest, as well as on messaging to the industry and the public. A communications plan has been developed for 2020 for all growers, grounds management, turf management, landscape contractors, garden centres, garden writers and the general public in Ontario.
