Canada Blooms is coming March 8-17
Landscape Ontario members have access to special discounted tickets for Canada Blooms and the National Home Show, March 8-17 in Toronto. The tickets are a great treat for employees and a great way to get clients and suppliers excited about the year ahead. Get industry certified in 2019
CNLA has scheduled test dates across the country for those candidates in pursuit of Landscape Industry Certification in 2019, with events scheduled March 8-17 at Canada Blooms (written exam) and June 22 and Sept. 21 at Landscape Ontario in Milton (written and hands-on). Candidates who have not completed all stations by Dec. 31, 2019 will be required to start over under the new format. Those who have already achieved certification before the deadline are not affected. Details on the CNLA website.

City of Toronto landscaping job fair, March 20
Since 2003 LO members and the City of Toronto have worked in partnership at an annual landscape sector job fair for youth and adults supported by the non-profit employment service sector. There is no cost to employers to participate as the goal is to connect job seekers to current and future job opportunities. The job fair will take place March 20 at the YMCA Metro Central in Toronto.
