Tony DiGiovanni   LO members help in a time of crisis
The passion, expertise and goodwill of LO members never ceases to amaze me. In a time of need, the cream certainly does rise to the top. Faced with a salt shortage and increased prices to clients, members of LO’s Snow and Ice Management Sector group have worked together to come up with real world solutions and a coordinated effort to educate clients, the media and the public on this important issue. Here’s a recent interview with sector group member, Brian Perras on CBC radio’s Ontario Morning.

Correction on last week’s LO enews
In last week’s enews, a clerical error incorrectly listed the Ontario government’s plan to freeze the minimum wage at $15 per hour. The correct amount is in fact $14. In addition, the close date for the sale of land at Humber Nurseries is December 2019. Humber will continue business operations as normal throughout 2019 until the new business opens in 2020. Landscape Ontario apologizes for the errors.
