SAVE MONEY AND TIME REVIEW YOUR EXHIBITOR MANUAL AND SUBMIT NEW PRODUCT ENTRIES FOR LANDSCAPE ONTARIO’S CONGRESS, JANUARY 10 -12, 2012 Dear Exhibitor: We appreciate the time you are taking to review your exhibitor manual and send in the forms. For those who haven’t had time to do that, please do so now. You’ll save time and money if you get all of your order forms processed today. Some of these deadlines have passed. It is recommended that you take action on these past due items:
At the same time, you’ll want to review these forms that have rapidly approaching deadlines: Please remember that you are required to provide floor covering, power, furnishings and signage for your booth. All of these items can be ordered from the official show service suppliers listed in the exhibitor manual. Please remind everyone that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory for all personnel involved in the set-up and dismantling of your booth. No one will be allowed on the show floor unless they are wearing safety shoes. Other PPE that may be required: hardhats, gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, etc. Landscape Ontario, in compliance with the Ministry of Labour, is required to enforce ‘zero tolerance’ for exhibit personnel and subcontractors setting up or dismantling booths that do not have PPE. All exhibitor personnel responsible for hiring staff to work in booths are asked to notify your personnel in advance to ensure that they are aware of and will act in compliance with safe work practices. All exhibit staff during move-in and – out, if not wearing safety shoes, will need to purchase safety shoes from Mister Safety before accessing the show floor.
