The annual Growers Short Course takes place at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, on February 13, 2008. This year’s featured speaker is Keith Warren, director of product development for J. Frank Schmidt and Son in Boring, Ore. Warren will present two talks on planting for success and the latest development in new trees. Rounding out the day’s events are many other short, but informative, sessions focusing on issues that are relevant to growers.

Pre-registration is $65 for LO members and $75 for potential members. At the door, registration is $90, payable by cash or cheque only. Continental breakfast opens at 7:30 with the first sessions starting promptly at 8:30.
