The Snow and Ice Sector Group of Landscape Ontario, the Ontario Parks Association and the Municipal Equipment and Operations Association are hosting an annual conference and trade show program.
Mark your calendars on September 14 and 15 to attend at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex in Kitchener, Ontario.
In addition to a display of equipment, this year’s conference program
features many opportunities to help you make your operations more
efficient and cost effective.
Build-a-Bid & Beyond-the-Bid Programs: September 14, 2011
The programs were created by members of
SIMA (the Snow and Ice Management Association) to address one of the
greatest business challenges they faced, proper pricing. Their work
resulted in these full-day programs, (running concurrently) that will help you put together and
sell snow and ice proposals that fit YOUR business model.

Conference and Trade Show: September 15, 2011
This
full day program is a general overview of many different components of
snow and ice control, as well as parks and landscape management. This
series of short talks will give employees a great training and refresher
opportunity.

Trade Show
On
September 15, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., participants will be treated to indoor and outdoor
displays of some of the latest equipment and technologies for the snow
and ice control industry, including the Municipal Equipment and
Operations Association. From trucks to plows and from electronics to
software, you will find the tools to help improve your business from
over 100 exhibitors!

September 14:
Build-A Bid Program; only $250 for LO members and $350 for non-members.
Beyond-The Bid Program; only $250 for LO members and $350 for non-members.
September 15:
Trade show entry with lunch and plenary sessions is $40.
Entry-only to trade show is free of charge. (does not include lunch or entrance to plenary sessions)
To ensure a lunch, registration must be completed by September 2.
Registration: registration will open online May 9.
Venue for both days: Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex, Kitchener, Ontario, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
