As you enter the Canada Blooms Preview Party, your senses will come alive!
Sight: From the Galleria you will encounter a lovely garden salute to the 15th Anniversary of the Canada Blooms and 40th Anniversary of the JUNO Awards, and a first glimpse of the Cirque du Soleil’s preview of “Totem”, followed by the beautiful feature gardens created by Ontario’s best Landscape designers and builders.

Sound: Enjoy a very special performance by JUNO winner Carolyn Dawn Johnson.
Smell: Take in the fragrant displays by Professional Florists and entries of the Garden Hall Flower Competition, including those of the International competitors.

Taste: After you recieve your complementary glass of wine upon entering, stroll on over to the
Niagara WineCDJ Record CoverGarden where Vincor Canada and the Dairy Farmers of Canada
will be offering wine and cheese tasting.

Carolyn Dawn JohnsonDon’t miss Award-winning Canadian singer/songwriter and producer Carolyn Dawn Johnson as she steps onto centre stage at the Canada Blooms Preview Cocktail Reception for a special performance. Carolyn has been nominated for Country Album of the Year at the 2011 JUNO Award.“Teach Me”, a song from her new album LOVE RULES was the CDJ Record Coverinspiration for her “JUNO Rocks” Garden, which was created by Evergreen Environments. As she stated, “All in all, I would like to think that in my life love rules.” Born on a farm in Alberta, she loves natural planting, ponds, and evergreens which will be the main setting for the Garden.

WHAT IS TOTEM?
TOTEM traces the fascinating journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. The characters evolve on a stage evoking a giant turtle, the symbol of origin for many ancient civilizations. Stay tuned for a special ticket offer from Cirque du Soleil.

As part of our tribute, Canada Blooms, CARAS, Landscape Artists and JUNO-nominated Artists have created the “JUNO Rocks” Gardens. From a bold Opera to the Country beats of motherhood and everything in between, the “JUNO Rocks” Gardens are very personal interpretation from each talented artist as to what ‘Rhythms’ means to them.
