The Horticulture Technicians Program at Algonquin College is facing elimination. On Tues., June 1, there is a one-and-only opportunity to respond to this proposal. The final recommendations go to vote at the Board of Governors meeting in late June. LO members need to attend the meeting to support the continuation of the program. The college is the only post-secondary institution within the City of Ottawa to offer a Horticulture Technicians Program. Members, who believe that the education program is important, are asked to consider attending and or speaking. The meeting is at Algonquin College, Woodroffe Campus, T Building – Room T102, starting at 7 p.m. To register, click here.
