Your royalty treatment will include:


  • Mayors’ Green Express VIA Rail: An exclusively designated rail car to transport our
    special guests on a selected train on Monday, January 11, 2010. (please let us know which is
    your most convenient VIA station along the Windsor/Toronto or Ottawa/Toronto route), see attached
    timetable.


    You will enjoy your stress free travel to Toronto aboard this green friendly train. Local
    media will be present at various stops with interview/photo opportunities. As a leader of
    your community, be recognized as a role model in advocating a greener transportation
    alternative!

  • Free Shuttle Service: Will be available to transport you from the VIA Rail Mayors’
    Green Express at Union Station to one of the choice Toronto Congress Hotels. A shuttle
    will be provided for your return aboard the Tuesday, January 12th, early evening VIA train.
    Feel free to stay a few days to enjoy the conference, visit friends or take in some sites,
    your return trip home with VIA is flexible. (Please note, that you may be responsible for your
    transportation to Union Station after January 12th).

  • Discounted Accommodations: The Mayors’ hotel of choice is the Doubletree by Hilton
    Toronto Airport, conveniently located within walking distance of the Toronto Congress
    Centre. (Please note, shuttle service is available to the Congress Centre from all three hotels listed on the attached list of hotel accommodations.)

  • Royal Treatment: Includes a Green Eggs Breakfast, Special Guest Speakers, Unique
    Roundtable Luncheon and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony (with media) to officially open
    Landscape Ontario’s Congress, Canada’s largest horticultural, lawn and garden trade
    show (with free admission).
